Me and my lady were at a country club on Pleasant Lake for their new years eve party and low and behold Benny Poole shows up with his saxaphone! I knew the people playing in the band that night and got to go up a play a few songs right alongside Mr. Poole! I know everyone here is going, "Benny who?" as I think half of the place was on new years eve as well. He's just turned 80 years old and is an old school jazz legend on sax. I'll be posting pictures of us playing together in the next couple days. Here's a recent article I found about Benny on the net:
